The winter storms pretty well shut down this section on Thursday and Friday, February 25 and 26. Schools were closed, events cancelled or postponed, and many businesses did not open or closed early on those days.
There was little activity on Thursday, but on Friday, after the plowers and shovelers did their work, traffic was plentiful.
The local municipalities did a fine job of keeping the roads passable in and after the recent snow storm. The Canton Borough street Department, assisted the crew from Canton Township, removed the snow from the parking district, making life easier in downtown Canton.
